New Yorker Cartoon

literal question: The picture is set in a baseball field?

Inferential question: Is the man concern on what Megan want?

Evaluative question: Does everyone in the stadium see the sign?

Appreciative: Does this mean the author is trying to get a message out to Megan?

Essential question: Which city is this taken place in?

Why this cartoon is funny? This cartoon is asking someone what they want with him at a baseball game screen in front of thousands. It is funny and mean because it could just ask her but you put it on a screen for thousands to see. Many people do that but for marriage which is an great idea for a couple. However people really like when that is brought into a profession game or community of the sports. But asking what do you want is rude.
